House Rules

Tuesday, May 27, 2008   |   Literature
These 'House Rules' were located at Netherwoods in Hasting at the boarding house in which Aleister Crowley spent his last few years. Although it is believed that he did not write such, his presence there inspired it.

Guests are requested not to tease the ghosts.

Breakfast will be served at 9 a.m.
to survivors of the night.

The Hastings Borough Cemetery
is five minutes walk away
(ten minutes if carrying body),
but is only one minute away
as the Ghost flies.

Guests are requested
not to cut down bodies
from trees.

The Office has a certain amount
of used clothing for sale,
the property of guests
who have no longer
any use for earthly raiment.
